The Heyco M3251 strain relief is a pigtail‑style cord grip designed for rugged cable retention and environmental protection. Built from durable nylon, it supports cable diameters from 0.170" to 0.450" (4.32–11.43 mm) and installs into a 1/2" threaded opening with a required 0.875" mounting hole. Rated for NEMA Type 6 / IP68 environments, it provides liquid‑tight performance and resists salt, water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents. The cord grip maintains reliability across a wide temperature range, with static ratings from 239°F to –40°F and dynamic ratings from 212°F to –4°F, making it suitable for demanding industrial, commercial, and outdoor applications.
